Hey Fresh Face Beauties and FlawLESS fans! You know who I am. I am Dr. Candrice, your favorite, fun, board-certified dermatologist. Your go-to-girl for everything healthy hair, skin and nails. This is a space where we focus LESS on flaws and more on the beauty within.
Do you pay attention to your feet? Let’s keep them smelling and feeling great… fungus free!
- Fungus loves to grow in warm dark moist places. Think… sweaty feet in damp socks and shoes. Sounds really…..well… moist and squishy. If you have a tendency for sweaty feet, keep a change of socks with you.
- After your shower or bath, make sure the feet and spaces between your toes are dry. A hand-held hair dryer set to a cool setting aimed at the toes may help.
- If nail care is out-sourced to a nail salon, be observant. Sterilized nail tools should be used on each customer. No sharing! Don’t be afraid to ask if the instruments have been sterilized.
